*H*A*P*P*Y* *B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y* Noel!

WOW!! is all I can say ~ W*O*W ~ I had the honor of shooting the best photo session of my life last Friday afternoon!! I got to photograph my first Birthing Session!! It was amazing! I can not tell you the joy I felt watching this mother bring her beautiful baby girl into this world and giving her life~

I'm still in awe of this miracle; this gift that God has given us. I pray many blessings on this sweet baby girl and her family!

I feel so blessed. Photography has always been my passion but it wasn't until this past year that I was lead to share my talent on a more professional level. God has blessed me with this amazing ability to see people in a different light and capture their true spirit and also the gift of creativity. I love that so many have asked me to forever record the moments that mean the most in their life.

I've been very busy shooting everything lately~ I feel kinda lost when I'm not shooting something. I have so many fun ideas that I want to share. Guess I've been feeling a little melancholy lately- been thinking about my mother a lot~ guess it's because of all the weddings I've got coming up... and remembering my wedding dress and all the many hours she put into making it, every bead sewn by hand. I think my dress is the most beautiful dress I will ever see~ I can't help but think of all the shots I missed over the years and wish now that I had taken more pictures of the older members of my family... and not just to tons of pics I have of my children.

I *L*O*V*E* my job!

Just want to say how much I Love My Job~ I have had the most amazing past two weeks shooting all kinds of sessions from engagement sessions to maternity sessions! and there a few Senior high school sessions too. I just love all! Everyone has been so much fun to work with and they each teach me a little something new every time.

I'm so excited~ a month from today I will be getting ready to shoot my first wedding!! I can't wait! A month from today will be the rehearsal dinner and then the next day will be the big day! Wish me luck!! I've got so many ideas on so many fun shots!

I feel so blessed! I thank God everyday for the talent he has given me and for helping me realize and unleash my passion!

Sizzlin' Summer!

Hope everyone's having a great Sizzlin' Summer!! SOooooo sorry it's been awhile since I posted last~ I've been very busy.. which is I guess you could say a GOOD thing!!

Lots of kiddo photo shoots, graduation, and a few performances from Parkway Playhouse~! I just posted scenes from 1776... it was an awesome performance! If you haven't done it yet be sure to check out my website for all the other performances so far.

I'm very excited for the Fall to get here~ I have 3 weddings booked!! August, September, and October!! what a great way to welcome in Fall!! So excited for the couples too~ very sweet!!

Babies of Spring~

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are experiencing Spring weather where ever you are... and by that I mean a little warmer!! Because were I am it's really chilly today!! Pretty but chilly~ um... let me rephrase that... COLD! We even saw a few snow flurries yesterday~

Sorry it's taken me a few weeks to post something new but I've been pretty busy!

Two weeks ago I had an awesome opportunity to shoot my first maternity sitting! I had a *B*L*A*S*T!! Got to work with a really sweet family who is expecting their second child and it's another boy! They already have a precious son and he's very excited to meet his little brother.

AND TODAY!! I get to shoot my first NEW BORN sitting!! Yes, that's right the baby is here!! and he's a cute too... just like his big brother! Can't wait to meet him~ I'll post pics when I'm done.

Spring is in the Air!

This week started out *B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L*! The temps got up in the lower 70's and it actually felt warm outside!I even heard the birds chirping and getting their nests ready for new birth! It got me thinking that in only 2 shorts months it will be spring and Easter~ My favorite time of the year!! I love spring and I really love Easter! Easter is my favorite holiday~ guess it's all the vibrant colors of spring and I'm sure it's the bunnies too!! Oh yea~ and the chocolate! This is a picture of my brothers- Easter 1959~ love the matching white coats and navy bow ties!

I can't wait for all the trees to start budding and the flowers to start blossoming. It's the perfect time for family pictures~ I promise I'll be a little more creative than this one of my family at one of many Easter family reunions~

Great New Beginnings!

So excited to be launching my new blog about my new photography business!!
